A Little Bit About Me
My name is Zakiruddin Fetrat, born in 1994 in Khost district, Baghlan province, a place where the beautiful nature and rich culture have always inspired my growth. I grew up in a large family with 13 brothers and 6 sisters, which taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of collaboration.

I completed high school at Khost Bazaar High School and, driven by a deep interest in sciences, enrolled in the Petroleum Engineering program at Balkh University in 2015. This field not only provided me with technical knowledge but also opened my eyes to Afghanistan’s immense potential in natural resources.

After graduating in 2019, I started living in Kabul. Since then, my goal has been to utilize the skills and knowledge I have gained to contribute to my country’s progress.

My aspiration is to harness Afghanistan's natural resources and renewable energies to guide the nation toward sustainable development. To achieve this, I have been accepted into the Chevening Scholarship program in the UK and am preparing to pursue advanced studies.

My life is filled with perseverance, hope, and love for my homeland. I strongly believe in a brighter future for Afghanistan and aim to play my part in building it.
